Hizb 13
Juz 7
Those of the Children of Israel who took to unbelief have been cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary, for they rebelled and exceeded the bounds of right. (78) They used not to prevent one another from wrongdoing that they did. How wretched was that which they were doing. (79) You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally. (80) Had they believed in Allah and this Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) and what is sent down upon him, they would not befriend the disbelievers, but most of them are disobedient. (81) ۞ You find Jews and pagans among the worst of the enemies of the believers. (Of the non-believers) nearest to them (the believers) in affection you find those who say, "We are Christians," for among them are the priests and monks who are not proud. (82) When they listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears, because of the Truth they recognize. They say, "Our Lord, we believe, so count us among those who bear witness. (83) Why should we not believe in God and the truth that has come to us, and be eager that our Lord should admit us with the righteous people?' (84) And for this their belief God will reward them with gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: for such is the requital of the doers of good; (85) And those who disbelieved and denied Our signs, are the people of hell. (86)
