O People who Believe! Do not devour usury doubling and quadrupling it; and fear Allah, hoping that you achieve success. (130) And have fear of the Fire which awaits those who deny the Truth. (131) And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. (132) ۞ And rush towards forgiveness from your Lord, and towards a Paradise that can hold all the heavens and the earth in its width prepared for the pious. (133) Those who expend in weal and woe, and the repressors of rage and the pardoners of men; and Allah loveth the doers of good. (134) And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins - Who forgiveth sins save Allah only? - and will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did. (135) These it is who shall have as their reward forgiveness from their Sustainer, and gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and how excellent a reward for those who labour! (136) Dispensations have gone forth before you; go about then on the earth, and behold what wise hath been the end of the beliers! (137) This (the Quran) is a plain statement for mankind, a guidance and instruction to those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2). (138) Do not be discouraged or grieved. You alone will have true dignity if you only are true believers. (139) If you get hurt, certainly others have also experienced injuries. We have made people pass through the different turns of history so that God would know the true believers, have some of you bear witness to the people's deeds, {God does not love the unjust} (140) And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers. (141) Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allah tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)? (142) You had wished to know death before you faced it (in battle); so now you have seen it before your own eyes. (143)
