O you who believe, do not practice usury, charging doubled and redoubled (interest); but have fear of God: you may well attain your goal. (130) Guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for unbelievers. (131) and obey God and the Messenger, so that you may be given mercy. (132) ۞ Hasten to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and to qualify yourselves for Paradise. Paradise, vast as the heavens and the earth, is prepared for the pious (133) Those who expend in weal and woe, and the repressors of rage and the pardoners of men; and Allah loveth the doers of good. (134) And who, when they have committed an indecency or have wronged their souls, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven, (for who but God can forgive sins?) and do not knowingly persist in their misdeeds, (135) Those! their meed is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens whereunder rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers! (136) Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied. (137) This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. (138) Be not, then, faint of heart, and grieve not: for you are bound to rise high if you are [truly] believers. (139) If a wound touches you, a like wound already has touched the heathen; such days We deal out in turn among men, and that God may know who are the believers, and that He may take witnesses from among you; and God loves not the evildoers; (140) And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers. (141) Did you think that you could go to Paradise before God knew which of you fought for His cause and which of you bore patience? (142) And assuredly ye were wont to long for death ere ye had met it. Now ye are beholding it even while ye are looking on. (143)
