The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
