The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(Muhammad), read in the name of your Lord who created (all things). (1) He created man from a clot. (2) Recite thou: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, (3) who, by the pen, taught the human being: (4) taught the human what he did not know. (5) By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. (6) For he thinks he is sufficient in himself. (7) Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. (8) Bethinkest thou him who forbiddeth, (9) A votary when he (turns) to pray? (10) Do you think he is rightly guided, (11) Or he commandeth piety? (12) Did you consider: what if he gives the lie (to the Truth) and turns away (from it)? (13) Does he not realize that God sees him? (14) Indeed, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock, (15) A lying, sinful forelock! (16) Then, let him call his assembly, (17) We will now call the guards! (18) Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ (19)
God the Almighty always says the truth.
