The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created- (1) Createth man from a clot. (2) Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous - (3) Who taught (to write) with the pen (4) Taught man what he knew not. (5) No! [But] indeed, man transgresses (6) because he thinks himself self-sufficient: (7) for, behold, unto thy Sustainer all must return. (8) Have you seen the one who prohibits (9) a servant [of God] from praying? (10) Have you seen if he was upon guidance (11) Or enjoins righteousness? (12) Have you seen if he denies and turns away - (13) Did he not realise that Allah is watching? (14) By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock (15) the lying, rebellious forehead! (16) Then, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades): (17) We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)! (18) No! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah]. ۩ (19)
Almighty God's Truth.
