The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, (1) Created man from a clot. (2) Read, and your Lord only is the Most Beneficent, (3) who taught by the pen, (4) The One Who taught man all what he did not know. (5) No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent, (6) that he sees himself sufficed. (7) However, (all things) will return to your Lord. (8) Bethinkest thou him who forbiddeth, (9) a servant of Ours from prayer? (10) Have you thought, if he had been on guidance (11) or if he commands others to maintain piety!? (12) Bethinkest thou, if he belieth and turneth away? (13) Knoweth he not that Allah beholdeth? (14) No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - (15) A lying, sinful forehead. (16) Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), (17) We will call the guards of hell. (18) Nay, pay thou no heed to him, but prostrate thyself [before God] and draw close [unto Him]! ۩ (19)
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
