The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(Muhammad), read in the name of your Lord who created (all things). (1) created man from a clot of congealed blood. (2) Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous, (3) who taught by the pen, (4) Teacheth man that which he knew not. (5) Nay! man is most surely inordinate, (6) because he thinks himself self-sufficient: (7) Indeed, to your Lord is the returning. (8) Bethinkest thou him who forbiddeth, (9) A servant when he prays? (10) Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? (11) and enjoins piety? (12) Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? (13) does he not know that Allah sees? (14) No indeed; if he does not desist, We shall drag him by the forelock; (15) a lying, sinful forelock. (16) and then let him summon [to his aid] the counsels of his own [spurious] wisdom, (17) We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)! (18) No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ (19)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
