The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, (1) Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: (2) Read, for your Lord is most beneficent, (3) who taught by the Pen, (4) He taught the human being what he did not know. (5) And yet, but yet man is rebellious, (6) that he sees himself sufficed. (7) However, (all things) will return to your Lord. (8) HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent (9) a servant when he prays -- (10) What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided (11) Or enjoins piety? (12) What thinkest thou? If he cries lies, and turns away - (13) Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? (14) And yet indeed if he does not desist We shall drag him by the forelock, (15) The lying, sinful forelock - (16) Then, let him call his assembly, (17) [the while] We shall summon the forces of heavenly chastisement! (18) By no means! Obey not thou him. Continue to adore, and continue to draw nigh. ۩ (19)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
