The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
READ IN THE name of your Lord who created, (1) He created man from a clot of blood. (2) Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, (3) Who taught (to write) with the pen (4) taught the human what he did not know. (5) And yet, but yet man is rebellious, (6) for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. (7) Indeed towards your Lord only is the return. (8) What thinkest thou? He who forbids (9) a servant (of Allah) when he prays? (10) Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? (11) Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? (12) Have you considered if he gives the lie to the truth and turns (his) back? (13) Knoweth he not that Allah beholdeth? (14) Nay, if he desist not, We shall most surely drag him down upon his forehead (15) a lying, sinful forelock. (16) So let him call on his concourse! (17) We shall call on the guards of Hell. (18) (Muhammad), never yield to him! Prostrate yourself and try to come closer to God. ۩ (19)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
