The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Recite in the name of your Lord Who created, (1) created man from a clot of congealed blood. (2) Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, (3) Who hath taught mankind by the pen (4) taught the human what he did not know. (5) Nay, verily, man becomes grossly overweening (6) whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: (7) Surely to your Lord is the return. (8) Did you see him who forbids (9) a worshiper when he prays. (10) Have you thought, if he had been on guidance (11) Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? (12) Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? (13) Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? (14) Let him beware! If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock -- (15) the lying, rebellious forehead! (16) Then let him call his associates; (17) We will call the angels of Hell. (18) Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ (19)
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
