The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
