The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
