92 The Night
Al-Layl
Juz 30
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the night when it covers the day, (1) and by the day when it breaks in its glory, (2) And Him who created the male and female, (3) Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends! (4) Yet he who gives to others and has fear, (5) for those who spend for the cause of God, (6) We will ease him toward ease. (7) And for him who hoarded wealth and remained carefree, (8) and calls the ultimate good a lie (9) So We will very soon provide him hardship. (10) and what will his wealth avail him when he goes down [to his grave]? (11) Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance (12) and to Us belong the Last and the First. (13) So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. (14) None shall roast therein but the most wretched, (15) The one who denied and turned away. (16) And Al-Muttaqun (the pious and righteous - see V. 2:2) will be far removed from it (Hell). (17) [He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself (18) And no one has with him any boon for which he should be rewarded, (19) only seeking the Face of his Lord the Most High; (20) And indeed, soon he will be very pleased. (21)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
