92 The Night
Al-Layl
Juz 30
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the night enshrouding (1) and by the day when it breaks in its glory, (2) And [by] He who created the male and female, (3) you strive in various ways. (4) For him that gives and fears (Allah) (5) And believes in Al-Husna. (6) We will facilitate for him the easy end. (7) But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, (8) and he belied the finest (9) for him shall We make easy the path towards hardship: (10) His wealth will not avail him when he falls into ruin. (11) Verify on us is the guidance (12) And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. (13) I have now warned you of the Blazing Fire, (14) None shall enter it but the most unhappy, (15) Who denies and turns away. (16) One who fears God shall be kept away from it -- (17) Who giveth away his substance that he may be cleansed, (18) not as payment for any favours that he received, (19) Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. (20) He surely will be pleased (when he will enter Paradise). (21)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
