The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, (1) Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; (2) who determined and guided, (3) And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, (4) Then maketh it to stubble dusky. (5) We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, (6) Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. (7) And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. (8) Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, (9) He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. (10) But it will be avoided by the wretched, (11) [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, (12) in which he will neither die nor live therein. (13) Indeed successful is the one who became pure. (14) And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. (15) But rather you prefer the life of this world! (16) although the life to come is better and more enduring. (17) Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, (18) In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. (19)
True are the words of God the Almighty.
