The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
