The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
