Hizb 60
Juz 30
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, (1) who created all things and gave them due proportions, (2) Who determines and directs, (3) who brings forth the pastures, (4) then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, (5) We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. (6) Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. (7) We shall take you slowly towards ease. (8) Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). (9) He who fears will mind, (10) And the wretched shunneth it. (11) Who shall enter the great fire; (12) where he will neither die nor live. (13) But those will prosper who purify themselves, (14) And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. (15) But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, (16) Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. (17) Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, (18) the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. (19)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
