Hizb 60
Juz 30
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, (1) Who creates and proportions, (2) And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); (3) And who brings out the pasture (4) and then made it into a blackish straw. (5) We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget (6) save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] (7) And We will ease you toward ease. (8) Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. (9) He will heed who feareth, (10) And the most wicked will stay away from it. (11) Who will burn in the terrible Fire, (12) Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). (13) He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, (14) and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. (15) No; but you prefer the present life, (16) Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. (17) Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, (18) The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). (19)
God the Almighty always says the truth.
