The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, (1) Who created and proportioned (2) and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] (3) who brings forth green pasture, (4) And then makes it dark stubble. (5) We shall make thee recite, to forget not (6) save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. (7) We shall take you slowly towards ease. (8) Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). (9) Admonished is he indeed who feareth, (10) but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch (11) he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire (12) wherein they will neither live nor die. (13) Indeed successful is the one who became pure. (14) remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. (15) But you prefer the present life, (16) But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. (17) Indeed this is in the former scriptures. (18) In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. (19)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
