The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, (1) Who createth, then disposeth; (2) who has ordained and guided, (3) And who brings out the pasture (4) then caused it to wither away. (5) By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, (6) Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. (7) We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. (8) So remind them if reminder is profitable: (9) Soon whoever fears will heed advice. (10) but the most wretched shall avoid it, (11) Who shall enter the great fire; (12) Then he will neither die in it, nor live. (13) Indeed successful is the one who became pure. (14) And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). (15) But ye prefer the life of this world, (16) and the world to come is better, and more enduring. (17) Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations (18) In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. (19)
True are the words of God the Almighty.
