Hizb 60
Juz 30
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, (1) Who hath created and then proportioned, (2) who has ordained and guided, (3) Who bringeth forth the pasturage, (4) then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, (5) We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), (6) save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] (7) And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). (8) Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, (9) He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. (10) And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, (11) [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, (12) Wherein he shall neither die nor live, (13) He who purified himself shall prosper, (14) And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. (15) But ye prefer the life of the world (16) and the world to come is better, and more enduring. (17) This is surely in the earlier Books, (18) In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. (19)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
