The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
