The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, (1) Who creates and proportions, (2) And Who hath disposed and then guided, (3) It is He who has caused the grass to grow, (4) then made it a blackening wrack. (5) By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, (6) Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. (7) And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. (8) Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, (9) He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, (10) but the most wretched shall avoid it, (11) who will roast in the Great Fire, (12) where he will neither die nor live. (13) Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, (14) who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. (15) But no, you prefer the life of the world, (16) although the life to come is better and more enduring. (17) Verily this is in Writs ancient (18) the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. (19)
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
