Juz 30
The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to those that deal in fraud,- (1) Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully, (2) And when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. (3) Do not these think that they shall be raised again (4) On a Mighty Day, (5) the Day when all men shall stand before the Sustainer of all the worlds? (6) Nay! most surely the record of the wicked is in the Sijjin. (7) And what will make you know what Sijjin is? (8) The record is a sealed text. (9) Woe, on that Day, to those who reject, (10) Those that deny the Day of Judgment. (11) for, none gives the lie to it but such as are wont to transgress against all that is [and are] immersed in sin: (12) When Our communications are recited to him, he says: Stories of those of yore. (13) Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. (14) Indeed! On that Day a barrier will be set between them and their Lord, (15) then they shall roast in Hell. (16) They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." (17) No indeed! Verily, the deeds of the virtuous shall be in the record of the exalted ones. (18) And what could make thee conceive what that mode most lofty will be? (19) A book inscribed, (20) which those angels closest to God will bear witness to. (21) Truly the Righteous will be in Bliss: (22) Reclining on couches, looking on. (23) upon their faces thou wilt see the brightness of bliss. (24) They will be given pure wine out of sealed containers (25) With a sealing of musk, which those who aspire for the best should desire, -- (26) a wine whose mixture is Tasnim, (27) A fountain whereof will drink those brought nigh. (28) Behold, the wicked were wont to laugh at the believers: (29) And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery); (30) And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; (31) And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." (32) But they had not been sent as guardians over them. (33) But today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers; (34) On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). (35) Have the unbelievers been rewarded what they were doing? (36)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
