81 The Rolling

Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sunlight is rolled up. (1) The stars turn dim and scatter, (2) And when the mountains are driven. (3) when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, (4) when the savage beasts shall be brought together, (5) when the seas shall be set boiling, (6) when the souls are coupled (to their body), (7) When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - (8) for what sin she was slain, (9) When the scrolls are laid open; (10) when heaven is stripped, (11) And when hell is further enflamed. (12) And when the garden is brought nigh, (13) Every soul will then come know what it has brought. (14) I do not need to swear by the orbiting (15) That run their course (and) hide themselves, (16) And by the night as it departs; (17) and the first breath of morning. (18) That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, (19) Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, (20) Obeyed one; then trustworthy. (21) And your comrade is not mad. (22) And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. (23) He is not avid of the Unseen. (24) Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. (25) Where then are you going? (26) It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, (27) for whosoever of you who would go straight; (28) But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. (29)
Almighty God's Truth.
