The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 when the scrolls shall be unrolled, 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 by the night swarming, 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 where then are you going? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
