Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). (1) the stars are made to fade away, (2) when the mountains shall be set moving, (3) And when full-term she-camels are neglected (4) And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; (5) And when the seas shall be filled, (6) souls are reunited with their bodies, (7) And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: (8) for what crime she was slain, (9) and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, (10) And when the heaven is torn away. (11) hell is made to blaze, (12) And when the garden is brought nigh, (13) then shall a soul know what it has produced. (14) So I swear by the retreating stars - (15) Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, (16) And by oath of the night when it turns back. (17) And by the dawn when it breathes (18) behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, (19) Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, (20) obeyed, and honest. (21) And your companion is not [at all] mad. (22) in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, (23) He is not chary of making public what is unknown. (24) Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. (25) So where are you going? (26) It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, (27) Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
