81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; (1) And when the stars fall, (2) The mountains made to move, (3) And when milch camels roam abandoned. (4) and when all beasts are gathered together, (5) When the oceans surge and swell, (6) souls are reunited with their bodies, (7) And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. (8) For what crime she was put to death; (9) When the ledgers are laid open, (10) And when the sky is torn away, (11) And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, (12) when Paradise is brought close: (13) Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. (14) So I swear by the retreating stars - (15) The planets withdrawing into themselves, (16) And by the night as it departs; (17) And by the dawn as it brightens; (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. (20) One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. (21) And your companion is not [at all] mad. (22) And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). (23) He is not chary of making public what is unknown. (24) And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; (25) So whither do you stray? (26) This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). (27) for whosoever of you who would go straight; (28) And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. (29)
God the Almighty always says the truth.
