The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. (1) And when the stars shall fall; (2) and when the mountains are moved, (3) when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, (4) When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); (5) And when the seas are set afire. (6) when the souls are divided into different classes, (7) and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask (8) For what sin she was slain. (9) And when the books are spread, (10) when heaven is stripped, (11) And when hell is lighted, (12) And Paradise brought near, (13) (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. (14) I swear by the receding stars, (15) Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, (16) and the night as it darkly falls, (17) And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], (20) The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). (21) Your companion is not one possessed: (22) Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. (23) He is not avid of the Unseen. (24) Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. (25) Whither, then, will you go? (26) This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind (27) For the one among you who wishes to become upright. (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
Almighty God's Truth.
