Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, (1) and when the stars lose their light, (2) when the mountains shall be set moving, (3) And when full-term she-camels are neglected (4) when the savage beasts are gathered (5) and when the seas boil over, (6) And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; (7) And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. (8) For what sin she was killed (9) the records of deeds are made public, (10) and when Heaven is laid bare; (11) And when the hell is kindled up, (12) when Paradise shall be brought nigh, (13) (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. (14) So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) (15) Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, (16) The closing night, (17) And the morning when it brightens, (18) This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel peace and blessings be upon him.) (19) with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned (20) With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. (21) Your companion is not possessed; (22) He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. (23) He is not chary of making public what is unknown. (24) Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. (25) When whither go ye? (26) Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). (27) (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: (28) And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. (29)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
