81 The Rolling

Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sunlight is rolled up. (1) And when the stars fall, dispersing, (2) And when the mountains shall made to pass away; (3) And when the camels big with young are abandoned, (4) When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); (5) and when the seas boil over, (6) And when the souls are paired. (7) And when the female infant buried alive is asked (8) For what crime she was put to death; (9) when the scrolls are unrolled, (10) And when the heaven is torn away. (11) when Hell shall be set blazing, (12) and Paradise is brought near, (13) then shall a soul know what it has produced. (14) I do not need to swear by the orbiting (15) that hide, (16) The closing night, (17) And by the morning when it shineth forth, (18) This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel peace and blessings be upon him.) (19) endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- (20) [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! (21) Your companion is not possessed; (22) And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. (23) and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. (24) Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. (25) Whither then go ye? (26) This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, (27) Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. (28) but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. (29)
Almighty God's Truth.
