Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun is wound up; (1) When the stars fall, losing their lustre; (2) And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, (3) And when the camels are left untended, (4) And when the wild animals are made to go forth, (5) when the seas shall be set boiling, (6) when the souls are coupled (to their body), (7) And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked (8) For what sin she was slain. (9) And when the books are spread, (10) and when Heaven is laid bare; (11) When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; (12) when Paradise is brought close: (13) Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. (14) BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, (15) orbiting, disappearing; (16) And by the night when it departeth, (17) And the morning when it brightens, (18) Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, (19) Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, (20) [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! (21) And your companion is not [at all] mad. (22) He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form (23) He is not chary of making public what is unknown. (24) Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. (25) So where are you going? (26) This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, (27) For whoever wills among you to take a right course. (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
