Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. (1) And when the stars darken, (2) and when the mountains are moved, (3) the young barren camels are abandoned, (4) And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, (5) the oceans are brought to a boil, (6) And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; (7) And the little girl buried alive is asked (8) For what crime she was killed; (9) When the scrolls are laid open; (10) the heavens are unveiled, (11) and when Hell is set ablaze, (12) And when the Garden is brought near;- (13) (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). (14) I swear by the receding stars. (15) Who move straight and stop. (16) And by the night when it departeth, (17) And by the morning when it shineth forth, (18) Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, (19) with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned (20) Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. (21) And your companion is not gone mad. (22) And indeed he saw him on the clear horizon. (Prophet Mohammed saw Angel Jibreel in his true shape peace and blessings be upon them). (23) he is not niggardly of the Unseen. (24) And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. (25) Where to are you then heading? (26) This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). (27) For the one among you who wishes to become upright. (28) Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. (29)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
