81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. (1) And when the stars fall, dispersing, (2) when the mountains shall be set in motion, (3) the young barren camels are abandoned, (4) And when wild animals are herded together. (5) when the seas are set boiling, (6) when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), (7) and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask (8) such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" (9) And when the books are spread, (10) And when the sky is stripped away (11) hell is made to blaze, (12) when Paradise shall be brought nigh, (13) then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. (14) So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). (15) The planets withdrawing into themselves, (16) and sit during the day, or by the darkening night (17) and the first breath of morning. (18) Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, (19) Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, (20) obeyed, moreover trusty. (21) Nor is your companion distracted. (22) He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form (23) And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) (24) The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. (25) So whither do you stray? (26) It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, (27) to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. (28) And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. (29)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
