Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, (1) and when the stars lose their light, (2) And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, (3) And when the camels big with young are abandoned, (4) and when all beasts are gathered together, (5) And when the seas are set on fire, (6) when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), (7) And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked (8) for what sin she was slain, (9) And when the Writs shall be lain open, (10) And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; (11) When Hell is set ablaze, (12) when Paradise shall be brought nigh, (13) (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). (14) Oh, but I call to witness the planets, (15) Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, (16) and by the night as it recedes, (17) and the morn as it breathes. (18) That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, (19) Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, (20) One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. (21) Your companion is not one possessed: (22) he truly saw him on the clear horizon; (23) Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. (24) And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. (25) So whither do you stray? (26) It is naught but a reminder for the nations, (27) for whosoever of you would go straight, (28) But you cannot will it unless God, the Lord of the Universe, so wills it [to show you that way]. (29)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
