The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, (1) And when the stars shall dart down, (2) and when the mountains are moved, (3) The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, (4) the wild beasts are herded together, (5) when the seas shall be set boiling, (6) And when the souls are paired. (7) and when the female infant buried alive is asked (8) for what crime she was slain, (9) when the records of men's deeds are laid open, (10) The curtain drawn back from the skies, (11) And when hell is lighted, (12) and Paradise is brought near, (13) then, each soul shall know what it has produced. (14) No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars (15) Who move straight and stop. (16) And the Night as it dissipates; (17) The rising dawn, (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, (20) obeyed, moreover trusty. (21) And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; (22) He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form (23) And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. (24) And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). (25) When whither go ye? (26) It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, (27) For whoever wills among you to take a right course. (28) And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. (29)
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
