Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, (1) the stars are made to fade away, (2) the mountains are scattered about as dust, (3) the young barren camels are abandoned, (4) And when wild animals are herded together. (5) and when the seas boil over, (6) when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), (7) questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, (8) For what sin she was killed, (9) And when the Records of Account are laid bare. (10) the heavens are unveiled, (11) when Hell is set ablaze, (12) and when paradise is brought into view: (13) (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). (14) But nay! I swear by the stars, (15) the planets that run their course and set, (16) and sit during the day, or by the darkening night (17) And by the dawn when it breathes (18) behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, (19) Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, (20) [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! (21) Your companion is not possessed; (22) He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form (23) nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; (24) This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. (25) When whither go ye? (26) It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, (27) To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, (28) And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. (29)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
