81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; (1) and when the stars lose their light, (2) and the mountains have been taken, (3) when the pregnant camels are neglected, (4) when the savage beasts are gathered (5) when the seas shall be set boiling, (6) when the souls shall be coupled, (7) And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked (8) for what crime she had been slain, (9) And when the pages are made public (10) And when the heaven shall be stripped, (11) When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; (12) And when Paradise is brought near. (13) Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. (14) No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars (15) stars which are visible during the night (16) and by the night as it recedes, (17) by the dawn sighing, (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; (20) obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. (21) And your companion is not gone mad. (22) in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, (23) Nor of the unseen is he a tenacious concealer. (24) Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. (25) Whither, then, will you go? (26) This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, (27) For the one among you who wishes to become upright. (28) but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. (29)
Almighty God's Truth.
