The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is wound up; (1) the stars are made to fade away, (2) The mountains made to move, (3) when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, (4) And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; (5) and when the seas boil over, (6) And when the souls are paired (7) And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. (8) for what crime she was slain, (9) and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, (10) when heaven shall be stripped off; (11) When Hell is set ablaze, (12) And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, (13) then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. (14) So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) (15) The stars which rise and set, (16) And by oath of the night when it turns back. (17) And by the dawn as it brightens; (18) Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. (19) one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; (20) The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). (21) And your companion is not insane. (22) he truly saw him on the clear horizon; (23) and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. (24) Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. (25) Whither then go ye? (26) It is not except a reminder to the worlds (27) For whoever wills among you to take a right course. (28) but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. (29)
God the Almighty always says the truth.
