81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, (1) And when the stars fall down. (2) and the mountains have been taken, (3) And when milch camels roam abandoned. (4) when the savage beasts shall be brought together, (5) And when the seas are set afire. (6) And when the souls he paired, (7) And the little girl buried alive is asked (8) For what crime she was killed; (9) the records of deeds are made public, (10) and when Heaven is laid bare; (11) and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, (12) when Paradise shall be brought nigh, (13) (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). (14) So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). (15) Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, (16) and the night as it darkly falls, (17) And by the morning when it shineth forth, (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. (20) Obeyed and worthy there of trust. (21) For, this fellow-man of yours is not a madman: (22) And indeed he saw him on the clear horizon. (Prophet Mohammed saw Angel Jibreel in his true shape peace and blessings be upon them). (23) And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. (24) Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. (25) So where are you going? (26) This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, (27) Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. (28) And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. (29)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
