The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, (1) and when the stars lose their light, (2) and when the mountains are made to vanish, (3) And when the camels are left untended, (4) when the savage beasts shall be mustered, (5) And when the seas are set on fire, (6) And when souls are united, (7) And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: (8) For what sin she was killed? (9) and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, (10) The curtain drawn back from the skies, (11) and Hell is stoked, (12) And when the Garden is brought nigh, (13) (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. (14) Rather, I swear by the returning (15) stars which are visible during the night (16) And by oath of the night when it turns back. (17) and the first breath of morning. (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, (20) who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. (21) Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness (22) he truly saw him on the clear horizon; (23) And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. (24) And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; (25) Then where are you going? (26) This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). (27) (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight: (28) but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. (29)
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
