The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun shall be wound round, (1) And when the stars fall, (2) And when the mountains are made to pass away, (3) And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; (4) The wild beasts stampede on the run, (5) And when the seas are filled with flame (6) when the souls are coupled (to their body), (7) when the buried infant shall be asked (8) such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" (9) When the scrolls are laid open; (10) the heavens are unveiled, (11) hell is made to blaze, (12) And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, (13) (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). (14) Oh, but I call to witness the planets, (15) And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, (16) by the night when it approaches (17) And by the morning when it shineth forth, (18) Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; (19) who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, (20) (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; (21) (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; (22) And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). (23) Nor of the unseen is he a tenacious concealer. (24) Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. (25) When whither go ye? (26) This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds (27) For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, (28) but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. (29)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
