Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] (1) and when the stars lose their light, (2) When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); (3) and when she-camels big with young, about to give birth, are left untended, (4) when the savage beasts shall be mustered, (5) the oceans are brought to a boil, (6) And when souls are reunited, (7) when the buried infant shall be asked (8) such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" (9) and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, (10) when heaven is stripped, (11) and when Hell is set ablaze, (12) And when Paradise shall be brought near, (13) Every soul will then come know what it has brought. (14) I swear by the receding stars. (15) That run their course (and) hide themselves, (16) and by the night as it recedes, (17) And by the morning when it shineth forth, (18) This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel peace and blessings be upon him.) (19) Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, (20) With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. (21) And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed; (22) And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). (23) he is not niggardly of the Unseen. (24) Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. (25) Where then are you going? (26) This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). (27) for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; (28) However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so. (29)
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
