81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, (1) And when the stars fall, (2) And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, (3) when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, (4) and when all beasts are gathered together, (5) When the oceans surge and swell, (6) And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; (7) And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. (8) For what sin she was slain. (9) And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; (10) When the world on High is unveiled; (11) And when hell is lighted, (12) and Paradise is brought near, (13) (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). (14) Rather, I swear by the returning (15) The stars which rise and set, (16) And the Night as it dissipates; (17) And by the dawn as it brightens; (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned (20) [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! (21) And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; (22) in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, (23) nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; (24) And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. (25) Whither then go ye? (26) This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds (27) to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. (28) And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. (29)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
