Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, (1) And when the stars shall dart down, (2) And when the mountains are driven. (3) And when milch camels roam abandoned. (4) And when the wild beasts are gathered (5) And when the seas are filled with flame (6) when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), (7) questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, (8) For what sin she was killed (9) When the ledgers are laid open, (10) And when the sky is torn away, (11) when Hell is set ablaze, (12) and Paradise brought nigh: (13) then shall each person know what he has brought along. (14) So I swear by the retreating stars - (15) That run their course (and) hide themselves, (16) And by the night as it closes in (17) And the morning when it brightens, (18) Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, (19) Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. (20) The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). (21) Nor is your companion distracted. (22) he truly beheld [the angel - beheld] him on the clear horizon; (23) he is not niggardly of the Unseen. (24) Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. (25) So where are you going? (26) This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, (27) For whoever wills among you to take a right course. (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
