81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the sun is overthrown, (1) And when the stars shall fall; (2) and when the mountains are moved, (3) when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, (4) And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; (5) And when the seas are set on fire, (6) souls are reunited with their bodies, (7) And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: (8) For what sin she was killed (9) the records of deeds are made public, (10) and when heaven is laid bare, (11) when Hell shall be set blazing, (12) and Paradise is brought near, (13) Every soul will then come know what it has brought. (14) No! I swear by the slinkers, (15) Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, (16) by the night when it approaches (17) And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. (18) Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, (19) Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, (20) obeyed, and honest. (21) Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness (22) And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). (23) nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; (24) And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; (25) Whither then go ye? (26) This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, (27) Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. (28) Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. (29)
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
