81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sunlight is rolled up. (1) when the stars shall be thrown down, (2) And when the hills are moved, (3) the young barren camels are abandoned, (4) The wild beasts stampede on the run, (5) when the seas shall be set boiling, (6) And when the souls he paired, (7) And the little girl buried alive is asked (8) For what sin she was killed, (9) And when the books are spread, (10) and when Heaven is laid bare; (11) hell is made to blaze, (12) And when Paradise is brought near. (13) Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. (14) I swear by the receding stars. (15) orbiting, disappearing; (16) And the close of night, (17) by the dawn sighing, (18) that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger (19) Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. (20) One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. (21) Your companion is not possessed; (22) He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form (23) nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; (24) This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. (25) So where are you going? (26) It is naught but a reminder for the nations, (27) for whosoever of you who would go straight; (28) but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. (29)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
