The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun is overthrown, (1) And when the stars fall, (2) When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); (3) when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, (4) when the savage beasts shall be brought together, (5) when the seas are set boiling, (6) when the souls shall be coupled, (7) and when the female infant buried alive is asked (8) such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" (9) when the records of men's deeds are laid open, (10) The curtain drawn back from the skies, (11) When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; (12) when Paradise is brought close: (13) Every soul will then come know what it has brought. (14) I swear by the receding stars, (15) Go straight, or hide; (16) And by the night when it departeth, (17) and the morning when it extends, (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, (20) (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; (21) And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed; (22) Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. (23) He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. (24) Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. (25) Whither then go ye? (26) This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). (27) Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. (28) And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (29)
God the Almighty always says the truth.
