81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, (1) the stars are made to fade away, (2) when the mountains shall be set in motion, (3) And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; (4) And when the wild beasts are herded together, (5) and when the seas boil over, (6) And when souls are united, (7) When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - (8) Upon what sin was she killed for. (9) when the scrolls shall be unrolled, (10) And when the sky is torn away, (11) And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. (12) and when paradise is brought into view: (13) [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. (14) So I swear by the retreating stars - (15) That run their course (and) hide themselves, (16) And by the night when it departeth, (17) And the morning when it brightens, (18) [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19) having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, (20) With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. (21) Your companion is not possessed; (22) in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, (23) And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. (24) And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. (25) So where are you going? (26) Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). (27) For the one among you who wishes to become upright. (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
