Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun is wound up; (1) And when the stars shall fall; (2) and when the mountains are moved, (3) the young barren camels are abandoned, (4) And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, (5) when the seas are set boiling, (6) When souls are reunited (with the bodies) (7) And when the female infant buried alive is asked (8) such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" (9) And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; (10) The curtain drawn back from the skies, (11) And when hell is lighted, (12) And Paradise brought near, (13) then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. (14) No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars (15) the runners, the sinkers, (16) by the night swarming, (17) and the first breath of morning. (18) truly this is the word of a noble Messenger (19) Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. (20) Obeyed one; then trustworthy. (21) And your companion is not insane. (22) in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, (23) he is not grudging of the Unseen. (24) Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. (25) So where are you going? (26) This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds (27) For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
Almighty God's Truth.
