Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, (1) And when the stars fall, (2) and when the mountains are made to vanish, (3) And when full-term she-camels are neglected (4) The wild beasts stampede on the run, (5) the oceans are brought to a boil, (6) And when souls are reunited, (7) And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. (8) for what crime she had been slain, (9) When the ledgers are laid open, (10) when the sky is unveiled, (11) When Hell is set ablaze, (12) And when Paradise is brought near, (13) Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. (14) Oh, but I call to witness the planets, (15) Those that run [their courses] and disappear - (16) and the night as it darkly falls, (17) And by the dawn as it brightens; (18) that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger (19) Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. (20) With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. (21) And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; (22) he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. (23) And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. (24) Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, (25) Then where are you going? (26) It is not except a reminder to the worlds (27) For the one among you who wishes to become upright. (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
True are the words of God the Almighty.
