42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ He frowned and turned away (1) when the blind man approached him, (2) How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, (3) or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. (4) Now he who waxes indifferent, (5) To him you attend; (6) Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). (7) but as for one who comes to you, eagerly (8) and fearfully, (9) of him you were unmindful. (10) Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, (11) Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. (12) (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). (13) uplifted, purified, (14) Written by the hands of emissaries. (15) Noble and pious. (16) May (the disbelieving) human being be condemned! What makes him disbelieve? (17) Of what thing did He create him? (18) He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate (19) then eased his path for him, (20) He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. (21) and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, (22) Nay, but [man] has never yet fulfilled what He has enjoined upon him! (23) Let man, then, consider [the sources of] his food: (24) [how it is] that We pour down water, pouring it down abundantly; (25) and then We cleaved the earth asunder. (26) And caused to grow within it grain (27) And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), (28) And Olives and Dates, (29) And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, (30) and fruits, and pastures, (31) [As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock. (32) But when there comes the Deafening Blast (33) on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, (34) Mother and father, (35) And from his wife and sons. (36) on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- (37) [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - (38) laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. (39) but others will be gloomy (40) Blackness will cover them. (41) these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! (42)
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
